I’m so loving the fact that it’s finally Fri-yay! The work week was pretty decent despite my inability to focus, it was just business as usual. Mercury Retrograde and great weekends can make the workweek suck, A LOT! Especially since last weekend was spent basking in all of the goodness that came with the beloved Mother’s Day experience. The kiddos prepared a scrumptious breakfast. Strawberry pancakes, sausages, hash browns, and the cheesiest eggs ever… so good! They even made freshly squeezed strawberry lemonade with mint leaves & blueberries. It. Was. Awesome.
I’m such a sucker for handwritten notes, and thoughtful cards, so it blessed my entire life when I received the cards that they’d made. So much so, that I had to fight back a few tears. Parenting isn’t always a cake walk, it can be pretty darn arduous and exhausting. Hearing the kids express their appreciation for our efforts means the world to me. Having that day of pampering and genuine appreciation was like hitting the reset button on my mommy-meter. Now, I’m feeling refueled and revitalized.
Florals and bows was the perfect look for for Mothers day. This look cost me less than $100 bucks.
