Brisbane Travels: The Cafe on the Goodwill Bridge…

I'll take a coffee with my sunshine, please and thanks

While in Australia visiting the other sunshine state, I sought out on an adventure to indulge in the ultimate cafe experience, and enjoy latte life as a local. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what that really meant but I was surely eager to find out.  As I traveled around downtown Brisbane, I was delighted. There were so many interesting places to visit and the people were so warm and welcoming that I wanted to stop into every shop and chit-chat with everyone. There is literally something intriguing on every corner and through every alleyway. My time was limited but I managed to do a bit of everything on my list to include locating 5 of the coolest cafe’s within the Brisbane, Queensland Area. Today’s featured Cafe experience is brought to you by The Cafe on The Goodwill Bridge.

One of my most favorite and cherished moments of our Brisbane visit was my notable Latte experience at the “Cafe on the Goodwill Bridge.” Everything about this location is fabulous, in an elegant and understated kind of way. The stellar grade-A views of the Brisbane River immediately enveloped me as I approached the cafe. And moments into the exchange, It felt like I was just kicking it amongst good ol’ friends from around the way. I could sit there for hours talking and gazing at sailboats and pedestrians as they passed by. My drink of choice was The Chai Latte with a shot of espresso (told ya it’s a new fave ;)). It was more than a Chai Latte, it was one of the best I’d ever had, actually. I didn’t have to add anything, the flavors were perfectly balanced and the froth from the steamed milk was nice and foamy, just as I like it.

I strongly recommend this Cafe as it’ll easily sooth the caffeine cravings of the most sophisticated Cafe Hoppers.

What’s most commendable is the upbeat personality of the owner/staff. They were so much fun! If you’re ever in the area, do stop by and try the Chai Latte, with a shot of espresso. Be sure to tell them that Maya sent cha!

As always, many thanks for reading SD. I can’t wait to share the many adventures of Brisbane, our date night, and all of our family fun and milestones. There’s so much more to come.

Meanwhile, remember to adventure out– do something that excites you, DAILY because simply living for the weekend is a real snooze fest my friends.

Cheers to new experiences, and lasting life long memories.
