Currently in Brisbane Australia trying to live my best life but this Jet Lag and work schedule won’t let me be great! I woke up at 2am again today and I haven’t been able to fall back to sleep so I figured I’d stop through to say Hi, and to share my AUSSIE happenings.

TBH, It’s been really chill, I haven’t done anything too fancy (yet- wink). BUT, I did partake in having a  “Dirty” Tea from Starbucks which is something that I’d never heard of prior to coming here. It’s essentially milk tea with a shot of espresso and it was surprisingly pleasant and now a new fave.

I’m looking forward to exploring the city this weekend though, as I haven’t strayed too far from the hotel. The first day, I did a little window shopping and stopped in at Zara to see what they had.  I purchased a cute graphic t-shirt, but their selection was pretty much the same as the Orlando store, so I wasn’t too pressed to buy anything from there. I also did some browsing at FURLA, LV, and CHANEL. There’s so much to see and so many great deals to be had. The AUD currency conversion is very favorable for USD. Though it fluctuates, today it’s like $.73 to the USD so it makes high-fashion purchases a lot more affordable.

I’ve been saving a bit on food by eating breakfast and dinner in the Executive Lounge, which is a complimentary perk that I received from the hotel staff and I’m so thankful– they’re so gracious and endearing. The customer service and attention to detail is phenomenal. I’ve been very pleased with my stay here and strongly recommend the Brisbane Hilton for lodging. I’ve gotta run as it’s now 5am, which means it’s time to hit the shower and start the day.

I’ll try to come back to link the items that I’m wearing but you know how life happens so no promises.

 

However, the dress is from Target, Shoes Gucci, purse YSL– Definitely easy to find items.
