Hello Darlings!
Both Wyclef and I were impacted by November…
However, I’m excited to be here with you today sharing some Friday Feels which consist of nothing but good vibes and great style.
I’m back up in your inbox locked and loaded with the fashionzzzzz that your lil ole heart’s been craving.
But…
Before we get too deep in the streets, I need to get this off my chest!
1,2,3…
That Girl Is POISON…
Poison, Poison…
*Insert crazy dope drumroll…. from that early 90’s anthem that we all know and love 🙂
I know you see it too…there’s something about this pose I struck (above) that just SCREAMS…
ABC, BBD… EmmmEmmmm!
Either that, or it’s the fact that I’m just getting settled in from an extremely eventful weekend in New Orleans, where I joined Essence for the star studded celebration of 25 Years of Excellence, aka Essence Festival. Of course Ronnie, Bobby and Ricki performed this classic and it was litty AF.
Y’all… believe the hype, Essence Festival really is all-that, Periodt. So much so, I have to dedicate an entire post to my Essence recap which will be forthcoming. For now, I’m celebrating my return by sharing some fabulous fashion finds, so lets hop into this here “Forever Suited” Short Suit. She’s EVERYTHING, isn’t she? This set is timeless. I’m already getting my money out of this beauty because I’ve styled it three different ways for three difference occasions and it hasn’t even been 60 days. I love the color as purple’s my all time favorite. It represents royalty and since I am QUEEN… well, ya know… it’s just the perfect compliment. Bright colors always pop so nicely against my melanin and this suit was no exception.
Since I was in NY, I really wanted to be super extra (as if my normal extras isn’t already over the top, Lol) I wanted a fun, playful look. I was pleased with how everything came together. For the photo shoot I wanted to play with lots of color so I added a fun Neon PVC Pump to compliment my pink Staud bag which is most definitely on trend right now. I’ve linked everything with the exception of my graphic tee (which is sold out) and these fun “Boujee” earrings.
Aint that bout a bihhhh, y’all… the earrings sold out as well (which is a major bummer because I was looking forward to linking them for you all. Hopefully they’ll get restocked soon.
I’m so here for matching separates. This set was perfect for date night with Mr. “All-In-One” aka my Hubby. I styled it differently because we attended a Broadway Show so I switched it up to a more classic look (I’ll show you that look in a separate post).
Until next time, NOTE THIS:Â
“When you recover or discover something that nourishes your soul and brings joy, care enough about yourself to make room for it in your life.” – Jean Shinoda Bolen
Cheers to making room, Darlings….
