It’s almost time to call it quits on Summer, but not before I share this hella cute and hella affordable one-piece swimsuit with the matching coverup. It’s the perfect duo for the woman who may be a bit self conscious about bearing it all when wearing a swimsuit in actual public, in front of actual people, Lol.

I stumbled upon this cutie while browsing my IG feed. Don’t you just love all of the new IG Ads? Yeah, I know, not really, right?

Though the ads can be a bit of a pain at times, I didn’t mind this ad so much as I was actually on the hunt for the perfect swimsuit to wear during a Girls Trip for my Good Good Girlfriend’s, B-day celebration in Cancun (S/N that trip was so LIT!).

I was high-key disappointed when the swimsuit (pictured) didn’t arrive until 8 weeks after I’d purchased it. Like, whaaaaa…Really B?  I’m sure you can relate to my frustration, we ladies take our outfit planning seriously and this suit showing up late could’ve threw me off my game, but luckily I had a few back up options on standby so I managed.

I was sold on the bright vivid colors, on sight, but I was a bit concerned because the model was more of the IG Model type with way less body to work with. I loved the way she wore the suit but I was not sure if It would work for me and my body type, however, I was pleasantly surprised.  I love the fact that though it’s a one-piece there’s nothing blah about it and it’s still a bit conservative with the addition of the matching coverup. One thing of note is that this colorful beauty doesn’t offer much support (belly, booty, or boob control), however, it still worked well for me in-spite of.

If you’re interested in this suit, just know that you have to allow ample time for shipping as  Modishshe is an overseas company so it takes much longer than your standard amazon package. I’d say it’s worth the tradeoff though because it’s only $28 for the two-piece set.  Though it didn’t arrive on time for my Cancun adventure, it ended up being the perfect look for my weekend Bae-Cay Getaway with Hubs. I have another one in fall colors as well, and I’m looking forward to splashing around in that one during our stay-cay at the Wyndham Resort, so stay tuned Friends.

 

I strive to embrace my flaws daily, and I hope to inspire other women to embrace their whole selves, flaws and all as well. Thus, I opted out of editing any of my imperfections. I think we need more of whats REAL on these innanet streets so you’ll see a lot more RAW photog content from me in the future! 🙂
